Vamana: herbal medicine induced emesis which forcibly eliminates morbid Dosha out of the body curing the kapha disorders.
Virechana: herbal medicine induced purgation therapy which clears the toxins that are accumulated in the liver and gall bladder and the gastro-intestinal tract. Virechana cleanses the Pitta and purifies blood by clearing the toxins from the body. Virechana is an excellent rejuvenating detox treatment. It triggers the metabolic activity and weight loss.
Basti Karma:medicated/ herbal enema therapy. The therapy has enormous benefits, especially in complicated and chronic diseases. As per the nature of disease, herbal decoctions, oils, ghee or milk are administered into the rectum and this has incredible positive effects. This therapy is extremely effective against vata-dominated conditions such as arthritis, piles and constipation.
Nasya:Nasya is a very effective treatment for illnesses in the head region. Medicated oil/ herbal juices/herbal powders/medicated milk are administered through the nose for a specific period as prescribed by the Ayurveda doctor. Nasya is highly effective for treating migraine, anxiety disorder, chronic stress, hormonal imbalances, paralysis, epilepsy mental disorders, premature graying and falling of hair, loss of smell and taste and is often prescribed to improve voice clarity.
